Our large, neurotic German shepherd ruined a cheap boxstore bed and a "fancy" (expensive!) boxstore bed by chewing and peeing (the covers did not hold up to washing). I stitched up the rips, but once she spilled the millions of tiny foam particles out I was done 😂 I'm thrilled to find these beds that are exactly what I would make if I could: single piece high quality foam inside simple, attractive, durable, removable covers! Thank you! This thinner bed will be her outdoor bed, and I also purchased the 4" bed for her crate.

My 100-lb senior boxer recently had surgery and is going through a patch of incontinence. I have to wash the bed spreads (mine came with 2) constantly, but not only are they somewhat water resistant, the cover around the foam has never let any moisture through to the foam. The quality of the foam, especially for the price, is unbelievable. I actually slept on this bed one night. The bed spread zipper is tough and allows for frequent changing. I wash in warm water and dry on low - it has not shrunk. I cannot imagine a better bed for my situation. And the price was just so affordable. Thank you so much for making a genuinely quality product that performs in the most difficult situations. Tip: Get a couple of those plushy throws that are velour on one side and sherpa material on the other. If the dog only pees lightly during the night, then you can just change the blanket. This has kept me from having to wash the bed spread every single night. So grateful for this dog bed.

My dog took about 3 seconds to decide this is his favorite bed. We have 4 around the house, he is ageing with back & hip problems so the cooling gel and cushiony foam is perfect for him. Good size & very easy setup. We are very satisfied with the quality of this bed. and so is Chewy.

We purchased this bed for our Great Dane several years ago, and it's still like new. This bed is truly an excellent buy! It shows no signs of wear and I love that I can remove and machine wash the outer cover-which also still looks like new. I do wish there were more plush choices for covers, but overall I recommend this bed for anyone. We plan to purchase another one for our new pit bull. I will add that the bed we have is large and quite heavy. The cover can be a bit tricky to remove and replace, but after a couple washings you figure that out too. I have been very pleased with this bed.
